Day Nine

We spent over an hour saing goodbye to the site via listening to speeches and loading a bus. Then we went to another base to pick up non-grunt personnel. After a good 4 1/2 hours waiting there, we finally moved in another bus (couldn't have used the same bus all the way across a city; that would be efficient) to a naval base where we will spend our last night in Louisiana, and on this bus we saw our last of the debris (this used to be a tourist attraction, and now it doesn't attract residents). Tomorrow we fly to Portland where we will spend the night and then demobilize and be home as early as Monday.
